A new direction for the Asia Education Teachers’ Association

We have developed a new website that facilitates easier and free access to all our teaching resources from the Teacher Resources tab. Our goal is to enhance the provision of quality resources for teaching about the society and culture of Asia and the Pacific in the twenty-first century. Our resources cover a range of subjects/key learning areas and include:

  • classroom activities
  • professional reading for teachers
  • programs
  • sample assessment tasks
  • units of work.

These are free to download. Additional resources are being uploaded all the time

Teachers familiar with our organisation will notice we have changed our format, instead of four journals each year, we are publishing relevant materials and resources as they are produced by our dedicated contributors.

Our organisation began in 1972 to assist teachers to develop knowledge, understanding and skills, including empathy for the region in which we live. We have endeavoured to provide relevant resources that meet the challenges faced daily by teachers for over fifty years.

We continue to welcome new contributors who can forward material for publication to our editor, editor@aeta.org.au. The rights to any contribution remain with the author and copyright payments will be distributed if and when they are received by our Association. Resources cover a range of topics and countries within Asia and the Pacific.
We are always interested in feedback from our readers.
